Executive Committee member of the Ghana Football Association Kojo Yakah says the government will quit their attempt to dissolve the GFA if all the NDC members within the FA resign.

Last Thursday the 12th of July 2018 the High Court in Accra appointed the Registrar of Companies as the official liquidator of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) despite the fact that the company is solvent, limited by guarantee and incorporated under the Companies Act, 1963 (Act 179).

Francis Oti-Akenteng has moved swiftly to dismiss some reports that officials of the GFA have rejected government's readiness to pay their salaries for the month of June.

Embattled officials of the Ghana Football Association will be paid their outstanding salaries by the government despite their inactivity for over a month now due to the current football crisis.

Investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas has responded to what he sees as an attempt to discredit his latest expośe on football corruption rejecting all sentiments that seem to suggest the GFA President Mr. Kwesi Nyantakyi was entrapped to commit himself during his undercover investigative piece #Number12.

Former Ghana Football Association President Kwesi Nyantakyi has disclosed in a leaked statement that a third party representing investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas asked him to pay $150k so they drop the Number 12 expose.

News coming from the camp of embattled GFA President kwesi Nyantakyi indicates he's denied any wrong doing in the video documentary into football corruption showed by Anas Aremeyaw Anas and his Tiger Eye Pi dubbed #Number 12.

Ghana Football Association (GFA) president Kwesi Nyantakyi never said President Akufo-Addo is in his “pocket”, the editor-in-chief of the New Crusading Guide newspaper Abdul Malik Kwesku Baako has clarified.

The President Nana Akufo-Addo has ordered the Criminal Investigations Department of the Ghana Police Service to arrest the President of the Ghana Football Association, Kwesi Nyantakyi after watching investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas’ Number 12 investigative piece which focuses on corruption in Ghana football.

The Ghana Football Association has released a statement to support beleaguered FA boss Kwesi Nyantakyi.
