FIFA bans Former Super Eagles coach Samson Siasia For Life Featured

Former Super Eagles coach Samson Siasia has been banned for life and was also fined CHF 50,000 for taking bribe.

During his coaching career, Samson coached the Nigeria U20, U23 and the Super Eagles during his spell at Nigeria.

He took Nigeria U20 to the final of FIFA U20 World Cup, also came second and third in the men's football Olympics.

As a player, He was part of the Nigeria team that won the Africa Cup of Nations 1994.

As a super Eagles player, he scored 16 goals in 50 matches.

In a statement released by the FIFA Ethics Committee, "Siasia was found 'guilty of having accepted that he would receive bribes in relation to the manipulation of matches"

Samson Siasia have been notified of the decision and the date of the ban is set to take place.
