Confusion erupts in the ongoing GHALCA emergency meeting with members divided on the composition of the 7 member committee formed to reconcile the GFA statutes to comply with the FIFA statutes.

The inclusion of Kofi Manu has brought division among the members.

Some members believe it sends a bad signal to the public.

While others believe his experience is needed for the task ahead.

Former Vice Chairman of the Ghana FA Player Status Committee Kofi Manu was involved in a football scandal in Anas Expose that gave Ghana football a bad image.

On Tuesday, 20th over August 2019, the national league clubs formed a 7 member committee to ensure the proposed GFA Normalization committee statutes conformed with the FIFA statutes.

The seven (7) members of the committee are Ntow Fianko, Kofi Manu, Randy Abbey, Robert Duncan, Habiba Attah, Frederick Acheampong, Jones Abu Alhassan.
