Ghana Football Association has announced to its members and stakeholders that the payment of $900,000 by GLOBACOM GHANA on Arbitration settlement has been given to the association by the former Normalisation Committee of the GFA.
The money was paid to the Normalization Committee by GLOBACOM GHANA as arbitration settlement for the unilateral abrogation of a sponsorship contract between the GFA and Globacom Ghana.
The Normalization committee explained that $1,000,000 was paid to their account but 10% of the payment which is $100,000 was paid as legal fees to the lawyer used during the transaction with Globacom Ghana.
On Wednesday 27th of November, $900,000 was paid to the GFA account, which has been confirmed.
