Reports in the local Ghanaian media indicated that the Ghana Black Stars who are in Kenya to prepare for the AFCON 2019 qualifying match against Ethiopia in Addis Ababa on Sunday were stranded. This has compelled the Normalisation Committee to refute the news making rounds in the media. A statement on the wesite of the GFA reads:
