Joseph Tetteh Zutah captain for Medeama SC and Williams Opoku captain for Karela United have both expressed their frustrations about the current situation of Ghana football claiming the lack of activity is really having a negative impact on their chosen profession.

Both players speaking on Accra based Asempa FM told the media, they would like to use the opportunity to call on the government to expedite their actions to ensure football is restored in the country.

They both expressed that, the lack of action is having a massive impact on their performance since they're only training without competitive action.

On whether the second round of the 2017/18 Zylophone Cash Premier league should be continued or not, the two players said they'll be happy if the 2017/18 league is truncated for a fresh start.

All football and it's related activities in Ghana has been suspended and government is in court taking steps to dissolve the GFA following an expośe on football corruption dubbed #Number12 by ace investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas and his Tiger Eye Pi which captured some top officials of the GFA but the players are calling for expedite action to bring back the game.
