The match was originally scheduled to happen on August 19, 2018 and September 2, 2018 but due to Aduana Stars' CAF Confederation Cup game on the 19th, the first leg has been rescheduled to take place on the 26th of August and second leg on September 2, 2018 all at the Kumasi Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
"We have decided to change the date because we wanted the whole country to throw their support behind Aduana Stars who're representing Ghana in the CAF Confederation Cup.
" On how the proceeds from the friendly would be shared, he confirmed all proceeds realize from game will be shared equally between the two rivals.
"We are waiting for some sponsors to come on board and sponsor the game and whatever amount that is realised is going to be shared 50/50 between the two clubs.
This friendly is going to be played between the two most glamorous clubs in Ghana due to the lack of football activities in the country after all football activities in Ghana was suspended as a result of an expośe into football corruption by Anas Aremeyaw Anas and his Tiger Eye Pi which captured some top officials of the Ghana football association as well as about 77 officiating officials.
