Ghana U23 coach Ibrahim Tanko praises his players for thier determination as they beat Algeria to get U23 AFCON ticket.

In his post match interview, Coach Tanko said after the first leg, the players were down, he had to talk to them every day.

He said the players showed character, which you have to commend them for it.

He also praised Yaw Yeboah for his goal against Algeria which helped Ghana clinched a place in U23 AFCON in Egypt.

Coach Tanko said that after the first leg he had to apologize for their performance even though the pitch was not good.

After seeing the Algerians play in the first leg, Coach Tanko said he had to map out a strategy to beat Algerians.

Ghana U23 hero Yaw Yeboah said after the match that the goal was the best goal he scored for Ghana.

He also gave credit to the whole team, for their support in the match.

Yaw Yeboah in the 69th minutes gave Ghana the winning goal from a superb solo goal.

Ghana U23 will be going to U23 Afcon in Egypt with the hope of getting an Olympic ticket to the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.
